Giving to General Giving
We have all been blessed so richly by God through Jesus that we love to respond by sharing what we've been given with those around us.
So we don’t give money out of a sense of obligation or to win God's favour. We give because everything we have is from God. As we give, we remind ourselves - and our families - that money is a servant, rather than our master. And we give sacrificially, as God gave His only Son for us.
At Norwest Anglican, an ever-increasing percentage of every gift received is devoted to mission, aid and education beyond our church.
At our contemporary services, we don’t pass a plate. The easiest and most consistent form of giving is by direct debit. The details are:
Account Number: 907898
Account Name: Norwest Anglican
For those who prefer to give by cash, there is a locked ‘Postbox’ in the foyer of the church building.
Tax Deductible Giving
The Norwest Anglican Ancillary Fund was set up to receive funds for tax deductible purposes. Donations are used to reduce the tax deductible portion of our building fund debt, to support school scripture teaching and for local, national and international aid. Donations to the Fund can only be allocated to areas endorsed by the Australian Tax Office.
General ministry work can only be supported by General Giving which is not subject to tax deductibility, and General Giving is therefore the preferred method of giving to the church.
The Norwest Anglican Ancillary Fund is managed by a corporate trustee company, the directors of which are the Wardens of Norwest Anglican church.
Tax deductible donations can be made to the following account:
BSB: 062 000
Account number: 16441018
Account name: Norwest Anglican Ancillary Fund
If you require a receipt please include your name in the reference section of the payment. A receipt will be forwarded to you upon receiving donation.
